Gujarat Giants Women kept their winning run going in WPL 2026 with a close four-run victory over Delhi Capitals Women in Match 4 on January 11 in Navi Mumbai. After winning the toss, DCW captain Jemimah Rodrigues chose to bowl first. Gujarat Giants made the most of good batting conditions and scored a strong 209 all out in 20 overs, putting Delhi under pressure.

Sophie Devine was the star with the bat for Gujarat Giants. She scored a brilliant 95 off only 42 balls, with seven fours and eight sixes. Devine also started her team's innings with a fast opening partnership of 94 runs with Beth Mooney. For Delhi, it was Nandani Sharma, who took 5 wickets for 33 runs and significantly stopped Gujarat from scoring more.

Chasing 210, Delhi Capitals Women came very close but fell short at 205/5 in 20 overs. Lizelle Lee scored a steady 86 off 54 balls, while Laura Wolvaardt added a quick 77 off 38 balls. However, Gujarat’s bowlers held their nerve in the final overs. Sophie Devine and Rajeshwari Gayakwad took two wickets each to seal a narrow win. Devine was named Player of the Match for her all-round effort.
