The Day 1 of the fifth Test was interrupted by rain, but the Day 2 and Day 3 were feasibly good for the game to proceed without any hiccups. But the Day 4 comes with its own share of challenges as overcast conditions are predicted with a hint of rain in the afternoon.

The weather prediction also forecasts cloudy skies which might lead to spell of rain in the middle of the play. The temperatures will hover around 24 degree celsius and precipitation will be around 10 percent in the afternoon.

We are quite confident to win: Jaiswal

Speaking of the game, India ended their innings with 396 runs on the board and provided a target of 373 runs for the visitors. In return, England ended the Day 3 with 52 runs on the board and lost one wicket in the process. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored a brilliant century, reiterated the fact that the team is there to win.

“Different challenges of playing Tests in different countries, but learnt a lot from my seniors like Rohit bhai, Virat bhai. Now KL bhai, Gill. It’s amazing to discuss with them, and learn from their experiences. There is movement off the wicket, will not be easy. We are quite confident to win,” said Jaiswal as quoted by India Today.
