The Women’s Delhi Premier League (WDPL) 2025 is in full swing; Match No. 5 sees Central Delhi Queens (CDQ) up against South Delhi Superstarz Women (SDS W) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi, on Thursday, August 21, at 2:30 PM IST. Both teams have performed well in their opening games of the season and will be wanting to remain unbeaten and keep a hold of that top position on the points table.

The Queens, led by Soni Yadav, have had a great start with two wins against the East Delhi Riders Women and North Delhi Strikers Women, meaning they are sitting at the top of the league. Meanwhile, the Superstarz, under new captain Shweta Sehrawat, are also unbeaten, starting their campaign with a washout against North Delhi Strikers Women and then a 15-run win over East Delhi Riders Women. Both sides are in good touch, and this is sure to be a fantastic contest.

CDQ vs SDS-W: Head-to-Head

CDQ and SDS W have faced each other once in the past, where the Superstarz came out on top (1-0).

CDQ vs SDS-W: Pitch Report:

The surface at Arun Jaitley Stadium has been conducive to batters through even bounce and small boundaries, making stroke play more manageable. Bowlers will have to rely on variations for an impact on the game, particularly in the middle and death overs.
