The T20 Mumbai League has started with another exciting new season. Matches have been played according to regular fixtures with a house of talents from every corner of Mumbai.

Along with young cricketers, well-established players like Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Shardul Thakur, Sarfaraz Khan, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw, Ajinkya Rahane, Musheer Khan, Tanush Kotian, and Ayush Mhatre are in the tournament. To add more star power, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) appointed Rohit Sharma as the face of the highly valued league.

The skipper of Team India reflected on why hard work is necessary for a person to get desired success in life. The moment we are talking about was captured before a match of the tournament. Rohit, in a deep blue casual shirt, shared the wisdom he gained over the years.

He advised everyone to value the things, whatever comes in front. And over the years the star cricketer has learned that nothing can be achieved without making any effort.

These is how Rohit reflects his legacy

"You have to value the things in front of you; learn how to value. Not just in cricket, but in general perspective also, nothing can be achieved through an easy path; to claim something, you have to work hard," Rohit Sharma before a T20 Mumbai League match.

The Mumbaikar has recently experienced a surreal experience in his life. A stand of Wankhede Stadium is named after the iconic batter from Mumbai; the stand is now known as the Rohit Sharma stand. It is the same ground from where he learned about cricket and developed gradually through practice, hard work, and dedication. Over his cricketing years, Rohit achieved multiple ICC trophies for the team and at an individual level also. In the Indian Premier League, under his leadership, the Mumbai Indians hoisted the trophy a record five times.
