The Indian social media influencer Puneet Superstar, whose real name is Prakash Sharma, has put a viral video on the social media platforms to request the former captain and the current opening batter, Rohit Sharma.

Prakash Sharma, who is known as Puneet Superstar, is an Indian social media influencer and content creator. His loud, chaotic, and often controversial videos on Instagram and previously on TikTok. He gained fame after appearing in the Big Boss OTT season 2 three seasons ago. One of his viral videos on Rohit Sharma on social media platforms has gone viral.
Rohit is currently taking a break from the game, following their 2-1 home ODI series against New Zealand that they went on to lose. He is the ambassador for the T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, having lifted the title in the previous season of the event under his leadership by beating South Africa in the final in Barbados.
“Rohit Papa. Keep him like this and make the country proud, Papa. And please help in teaching your Punit son how to play cricket. So that he can be successful in the future.” Puneet expressed in the viral video a request to Rohit, who retired from both Tests and T20Is in a span of just six months.

Rohit keeps his eyes on the upcoming ODI World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, having earned the veteran spot with 11577 runs in 274 innings at an average of 48.84 and a strike rate of 932.74, thanks to 33 centuries and 61 half-centuries at the best score of 264 runs against Sri Lanka in 2014 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
