Harshit Rana, who is named in the Asia Cup 2025 squad, recently participated in a blindfold test to rank six Indian cricketers ahead of Asia Cup 2025. The list features Jasprit Bumrah. Interestingly, Rana did not place Bumrah on top of the list.

Rana is currently in action with the North Delhi Strikers (NDS) for the ongoing Delhi Premier League 2025 (DPL 2025). The blindfold ranking was conducted on the sideline with host Shefali Bagga. The 23-year-old first placed Bumrah second on the list, leaving the viewers only to assume whom Rana would place over the pacer.

The video is shared from the official Instagram account of the Delhi Premier League. Rana ranked his Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) teammate Varun Chakravarthy in the sixth spot on the list. For the fifth position he chose to go with Prasidh Krishna, and for the 3rd and 4th place Rana named Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel.

Who is leading Rana's blindfold list?

The blindfold test turned more interesting when the pacer put Kuldeep Yadav in the first place. Yadav's spin bowling abilities are beyond questionable, but the Indian Team management did not include him in the playing combination during the 5-match Test series against England for the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy.

North Delhi Strikers (NDS) has been dealing with a lack of consistency in DPL 2025. They won three back-to-back games after losing their first match of the campaign. Then, they lost their momentum and lost in three consecutive matches. Rana, in his personal front so far, remained average, taking 11 wickets in 7 encounters. On the highest wicket-taking tally of the tournament, he is currently inthird place. Rana will be back in action with NDS on August 23, 2025.
