Ishan Kishan smashed the left-arm pacer of the Namibia side, JJ Smit, for two successie boundaries during the T20 World Cup 2026 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi as he put the bowler under pressure.

India went off to a flying start in the T20 World Cup 2026 encounter against Namibia at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi as Sanju Samson, coming in place of Abhishek Sharma, who was down with an upset stomach, got into his groove from the start and nailed the pacers of the opposition around the park.
After the dismissal of Sanju Samson, Kishan took on the left-arm pacer, JJ Smit, in the third over of the innings. On the fourth delivery of the over, Smit went full against the left-arm pacer who presented the full face of the bat and drove it straight back past the bowler, as it was a bit of a pitch but nowhere close to the bowler, and went for a boundary.
