Maharashtra will face Himachal Pradesh for their next match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. For the match, cricketers of Maharashtra have reached their destination. Star players of Maharashtra like Prithvi Shaw and Ruturaj Gaikwad received a warm welcome from the fans there. 

The ongoing 50-over format tournament has attracted a record number of crowds in the previous two rounds as multiple India stars are playing for their respective state teams. The cricket fans of Jaipur poured love for the VHT 2025-26 matches when Rohit Sharma was in action for Mumbai. Maharashtra will play their next match at the same ground where Rohit Sharma smashed a century in front of a full-house gallery a few days ago. 

The spirit of fans in Jaipur can be reflected again during the Maharashtra vs. Himachal Pradesh match, as there will be enough star attractions to watch for. Along with Shaw and Captain Gaikwad, experienced batter Rahul Tripathi is expected to feature in the game.

The only job for the Maharashtra cricket team is to win the match and continue their winning momentum. In their previous match, which was against Sikkim, they got a win with ease. But during their opening match of the tournament, Maharashtra fell short against Punjab in a high-scoring match. Ahead of the third round, Maharashtra has one win and one defeat with their name. 

Prithvi Shaw has been in brilliant form. In both of their previous matches, the batter, who will play IPL 2026 for Delhi Capitals, added significant runs in the scorecards. 46 against Punjab and 51 against Sikkim: Prithvi Shaw has done well so far. Ruturaj Gaikwad's form went through some ups and downs. After scoring only 1 run against Punjab, the elegant batter got 38 runs during the Sikkim match.
