In New Zealand or Australia, cricket grounds are not centrally made for the game. It’s like a park where the fans can enjoy their leisure in watching the cricket, sitting on the grass banks. That is why the glass of the car breaks multiple times whenever the batters nail the big shot outside the ground. The balls fly off the park to break the windshield or various parts of the car.

A rare video has gone viral around the social media platforms where the right-arm pacer went with a half-volley delivery to the right-handed batter, who made room and went under the ball to smack it over the boundary rope for a huge six. The ball passed a huge distance and went out of the park to break the glass of a car.

It didn’t amuse the car owner, who seemed to be living on the ground and kept his car parked outside the room. Hearing the incredible noise, he came out of his room and abused the batter for breaking the windshield of his car.

The owner came out of the room and shouted at the batters, “Who the f**k just hit my car!? I f**king live here!! Are you going to f**king pay for the damage?” In between, one of the spectators replied that it could happen given it’s a cricket ground and the ball is expected to fly around the park outside whenever the batter hits an over boundary.

In the past, a video, similar to this situation, went viral when a batter cracked a huge six and the ball broke the glass of the former New Zealand wicket-keeper Ian Smith, who was commenting during that period. “I think it hit my car. Oh no!!” he claimed in the middle of his commentary stint.

In International cricket history, India’s Rohit Sharma is the highest six-hitter with 637 sixes in 532 innings, followed by the former West Indies batter, Chris Gayle, with 553 sixes, with Shahid Afridi staying at number three with 476 sixes in 508 innings.
