Rockets kept the same team, while Superchargers brought in Graham Clark for David Miller. Captain David Willey won the toss for the Superchargers and chose to bowl first, following the trend of chasing in the tournament.
It was a rough start for the Superchargers as their top three batters fell for single-digit scores. Skipper Harry Brook fought back with 45 from 30 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes. Graham Clark added a quick 36 from 22 balls, while Matthew Potts stayed not out on 12. They finished their innings at 124/9 in 100 balls.
The Rockets started well with a 57-run opening stand in 39 balls. Tom Banton scordavid ed 37 from 25 balls with seven fours, and Joe Root made 20 from 17 balls. Imad Wasim took both their wickets, but Rehan Ahmed’s big hit over the ropes sealed the chase as Rockets won with four balls to spare.
