The decision to bat first, however, did not pay off, as they made only 102 runs, with captain Hollie Armitage's 36 off 28 being the only positive aspect of the innings. The Brave bowlers did not give an inch, and the chase was completed in 83 balls; thus, the home side could celebrate a victory without stress.
