The India vs Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup 2025 is less than 48 hours away from beginning. While there is a huge controversy regarding this match, due to the two nations’ political tensions, the IPL Chairman spoke about the Indian stance on the upcoming match.

Due to long-time political tensions between the two countries, India and Pakistan cricket teams haven’t faced each other in a. bilateral series since 2013. They now face each other only in the ICC or ACC tournaments.

However, the situation has become more tense since the 2025 Pahalgam attack. After the release of the Asia Cup 2025 schedule, which the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is hosting in the T20I format between September 9 and 28, many Indians have called for a boycott of the India vs Pakistan matches in the tournament.
