Sunrisers Eastern Cape will face Durban’s Super Giants in Match 21 of the SA20 2025-26 at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Sunday, January 11. This match comes after their earlier meeting in Durban was washed out due to rain, with no play possible.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape have looked strong whenever they have taken the field. Despite rain interruptions, they are sitting at the top of the points table with three wins from six matches. Two matches were spoiled by rain, and one match was lost against the Paarl Royals so far this season. Led by Tristan Stubbs, SEC will aim to stay in control of the tournament with another solid performance.

Durban’s Super Giants have not enjoyed the same luck. Rain has spoiled three of their matches, and they have managed just one win so far. That victory came early in the season against MI Cape Town. Since then, results have not gone their way and they will be desperate to grab a much-needed win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

SEC vs DSG: Pitch Report

The pitch at St. George’s Park usually makes scoring difficult. Batters need time to settle, and big shots are not easy. Spin bowlers can be effective during the middle overs. Most matches here have been won by teams chasing, so captains may prefer to bowl first after winning the toss.
