In a spectacular moment during Match 11 of the IPL 2025 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on March 30, 2025, RR all-rounder Riyan Parag took a grab that will go down as one of the greatest catches in IPL history, against the CSK. He wowed the fans with his athleticism, as everyone was completely taken aback.

With Wanindu Hasaranga bowling, Dube tried to hit a lofted drive, and the ball was likely to land safely within the extra cover region. Initially, it appeared to be surrendering Parag, who was positioned inside the 30-yard circle. He grabbed the ball inches off the ground. As he was diving full stretch to his right, he grabbed it. This sensational one-handed catch dismissed Dube, who left to the boundary after scoring 18 off 10 balls.

Nitish Rana's explosive 81 off 36 balls led RR to a respectable total of 182/9. During CSK's innings, Shivam Dube already looked dangerous when Parag produced a moment of magic in the 10th over.

The catch shifted the momentum of the game in favour of RR, and subsequently, CSK lost wickets rapidly. They ended up winning the game by 12 runs comfortably. At this point of IPL 2025, Riyan Parag's catch is guaranteed to be one of the best moments of the tournament.
