Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj were all set to get married on November 19, but the wedding has now been postponed. The couple got engaged earlier this month in a grand ceremony in Lucknow. Many well-known faces attended the function, including SP leader and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, actress Jaya Bachchan, and Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Rinku and Priya also shared lovely pictures from the event on their social media pages.

As per a report by Amar Ujala, the wedding was delayed because Rinku has cricket duties with the Indian team in November. The report, quoting family members, said the wedding will now take place in February 2026.
The final date will be announced soon.

“The family had booked the Taj Hotel in Varanasi for the wedding on November 19, 2025,” the report said. “But because of Rinku’s busy cricket schedule, they had to change the date. Now the hotel is booked for the end of February, but the exact day hasn’t been decided yet.”

On June 8, the couple got engaged in a lovely ring ceremony in Lucknow.
Rinku posted on Instagram, “This day has been in our hearts for so long almost three years and the wait was worth every second. Engaged with full hearts and a forever to go.” Rinku is a popular name in Indian cricket and played for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 2025 IPL season.
