There were rumors circulating around the social media corners that he was about to leave Rajasthan Royals (RR) before the mini auction. For a player like Sanju, with his status, needless to say that multiple franchises may prepare their checkbooks with a heavy number. Certain speculations suggested that Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were massively interested in Samson. Though, there is no solid evidence about Sanju's next move in the IPL.
Both KKR and CSK need a quality keeper-batter. Sanju fits the role, especially for his sublime batting and leadership qualities. Chennai Super Kings have to find a replacement for MS Dhoni.
