The legendary Indian footballer, Sunil Chhetri, who recently came out of retirement, has revealed the fitness scores of the former Indian captain, Virat Kohli, from London besides comparing the batter's skills with the famous footballer.

The legendary Indian footballer, Sunil Chhetri, has informed that the former captain and senior batter of the national side, Virat Kohli, sent him his fitness scores a few days back from London. It was reported earlier that the Delhi-born cleared his fitness test in London ahead of the away ODI series against Australia.

Chhetri was delighted to know Virat Kohli’s fitness scores and compared him with the renowned footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo. The current Indian team management has changed the fitness test to the Bronco test to increase the fitness level of the players.

“A few days back, he (Kohli) was sending me his scores of one of the tests he was doing. It is so addictive, and it is so good to know these kinds of people. On your bad days when you feel a bit lethargic, you see them and think, 'let’s go. When you are at the top, everyone wants to be a Virat Kohli or Ronaldo, and for these two to keep their place is unbelievable.Chhetri expressed during a recent interaction on The Desi PL Podcast.

Chhetri and Ronaldo’s names are often taken together when the names of top international goal-scorers are revealed. Kohli is preparing for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia down under, as Chhetri expressed the common factor between Portuguese and Kohli. The latter has already retired from the T20Is and Tests in a span of 12 months.

“I don’t know personally (Cristiano) Ronaldo. I have watched him, studied him. I know Virat (Kohli). The one common thing about these two is that they are just not happy with what they have already achieved," said the Indian footballer with 95 international goals.Chhetri informed during the reaction.

“I tried in my own way to inculcate the same thing because once when you start getting into that circle where you start thinking about what you have done, good or bad, then you are not on the same track that you want to be.The legendary Indian footballer, who recently came out of retirement at the request of coach Manolo Marquez, concluded.
