New Delhi Tigers beat North Delhi Strikers by 6 wickets at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in the 40th match of DPL 2025. Chasing 200, the NDT batted well, won the game with 4 balls remaining. Opener Sarthak Ranjan was the star for the Strikers, smashing a brilliant 100 off 58 balls with 7 sixes and 8 fours. He got good support from Arjun Rapria, who stayed unbeaten on 47 from 23 balls and gave the innings a late push. Others couldn’t make it big as the Tigers’ bowlers Prince Yadav (2/38) and Himmat Singh (2/40) kept picking key wickets.

The Tigers began well with Shivam Gupta hitting a quick 31 from 18 balls. Skipper Himmat Singh added 34 off 22 before Lakshay Thareja took charge with a superb unbeaten 80 from 48 balls. Dhruv Kaushik then played a fine finishing knock of 41 off 25 balls, guiding the Tigers home comfortably. They reached the target in 19.2 overs, won a strong 6-wicket victory.
