In the 24th match of the MLC 2025, the Los Angeles Knight Riders vs MI New York (LAS vs NY) match will be played on Thursday evening, July 3 (starting at 04:30 IST on July 4), at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill. It will be their first meeting in the MLC 2025, while both teams will play their eighth match of the season. 

It will be the MLC 2025 battle between the fifth-ranked MI New York and the sixth-ranked Los Angeles Knight Riders. Both teams have earned only two points this season by recording one win and six losses. New York have lost their last four fixtures and Knight Riders have suffered defeats in their last three matches. Both teams have suffered some close defeats, which have affected them massively.  

Before this tournament, they faced each other twice. They met once in the MLC 2023, which was in the league stage, and MI New York won by 105 runs. In the MLC 2024, they once again met in the league stage, and New York won by four wickets.
