Out of multiple injury crises, Team India may be forced to shuffle their playing at Old Trafford, where they are scheduled to play the 4th Test (ENG vs IND 4th Test) of the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar trophy. Along with Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep, Nitish Kumar Reddy also reportedly suffered an injury blow.
Thus, as of now, he is not sure about featuring in the upcoming contest, where India has to face a must-win situation. After the defeat in the 3rd match at the Lord's cricket ground, England is leading the 5-match series by 2-1, making the third match more crucial than before. In the last three matches, the Indian team management mostly put their focus on increasing the batting depth of the batting part.
That plan did not work according to the expectations. Except for Ravindra Jadeja, India's lower middle order performed in an underwhelming manner, which resulted in multiple batting collapses. In the third test, after the first innings, India was in a good position, but the batting failure in the second innings pushed them behind, and England bounced back to their winning ways.

According to some of the latest reports, Kuldeep Yadav can make his way to the playing XI for the Manchester Test, replacing an injured Nitish Kumar Reddy. Apart from claiming the wickets for Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley with the new ball, Reddy failed to touch the level of expectations. If Kuldeep joins the first XI, the Indian bowling department can perform in the field with more impact. Against England's Bazball strategy, Yadav's left-arm wrist spin can puzzle the English batters, and that can reflect on the scoreboard too.
