While the Indian right-arm fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah missed the opening game for his team in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, the Indian cricket fans were in doubt about the star's fitness for the tournament. Now, there is a video going viral on social media, where Bumrah seems in form with his strong bowling at the net.
The hosts India started their tournament campaign as the defending champions with a 29-run win against the United States of America. However, the Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah missed that game due to not feeling well.
Later, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) also clarified that Bumrah wouldn't be available for the match, while the medical team was monitoring his condition.
Later, it was reported that Bumrah had the flu or a viral fever, which forced him to miss the Men in Blue's tournament opener.

Jasprit Bumrah destroying stumps
