The Indian vice-captain Rishab Pant continues to enjoy a stellar run in the ongoing first Test match between India and England at Headingly. His valiant century of 134 (178) in the first innings was followed up by another counter-attacking century of 118 (140) in the second innings before Josh Tongue ripped through the Indian lower order to have India bowled out for 364. The Indian wicket-keeper batter stood tall for his side at a time when there had hardly been any contribution from the middle and the lower-order batters.

In a very recent development, Iceland Cricket has released a very hilarious post on their Twitter handle pertaining to the star batter's name. Pant's surname often becomes a subject of debate for many Western cricket fans as the word "Pant" is classified as a common noun and basically refers to a clothing material.

With that in mind, Iceland Cricket came up with a funny tweet which left many Indian viewers in splits.

This is what Iceland Cricket feels about Rishab Pant's name

The 27-year-old wicket keeper batter put on a beligerent display with the bat to put England under a lot of pressure in the first two session on day four. His flamboyant style of play attracted the attention of Iceland Cricket which untimately compelled them to unveil their own perspective about Rishab Pant's name with a touch of humor.

"The reason he is called Pant is because you cannot catch your breath when he is batting."

Following the end of the day's play on day four, the Indian vice-captain now holds the record of scoring the most number of Test centuries for India as a wicketkeeper batter. The 27-year-old has eight centuries and 15 half-centuries in this format. Despite a fighting stand between KL Rahul and Pant, India still fell short by a few runs in their quest to setting England a tricky fourth innings target. As the match stands, England require 350 more runs to win on the final day of the Test with all 10 wickets in hand.
