Going into the 20th match of the Delhi Premier League 2025 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi, on August 12 from 2 pm onwards, the Outer Delhi Warriors are all set to face off against the unvanquished Central Delhi Kings. Central Delhi, under the captaincy of Jonty Sidhu, has been unstoppable till now in the season, having won all their matches. Their decision will be to add on to their winning streak and also to take up the command on the points table by a good margin.

Sidhant Sharma led Outer Delhi Warriors, including IPL 2025 breakout star Priyansh Arya, have not been able to perform as expected and have managed just one victory out of their 5 games. To create trouble for the Central Delhi Kings in their impressive form, they will have to completely turn their fortunes around. A positive start to the game by their top order and tight bowling will be crucial if they want to upset the tournament favorites.

ODW vs CDK: Head-to-Head

This will be the first-ever meeting between the Outer Delhi Warriors and the Central Delhi Kings in the DPL.

ODW vs CDK: Pitch Report

The pitch at Arun Jaitley Stadium is likely to favor those batters who play shots. Boundary sizes being shorter, bowlers—especially pace bowlers—will have to be very accurate, especially in the death overs, where the game can change fast. The surface gives very little help to bowlers, so defending totals can be tough.
