Match 11 of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 turned into a procession at Arun Jaitley Stadium, as Central Delhi Kings (CDK) destroyed South Delhi Superstarz (SDS) by 9 wickets in just 6 overs, chasing and making a paltry 80, and with absolute situational dominance. CDK elected to bowl first after winning the toss, and it was the right decision that was hugely rewarded by a clinical bowling performance and then some electric batting in reply.

South Delhi Superstarz Innings: 80 all out in 15.4 overs

SDS had a nightmare of an innings with the bat and could only score 80 in 15.4 overs. The batting top order had little game sense to satisfy, and wickets crumbled at a regular interval from as early as the second over. Only Tejasvi Dahiya showed any fight with a brief 15 off an over, while Kunwar Bidhuri and Vision Panchal also showed decent starts but couldn't carry on.

The batting order capitulated under the continual pressure of CDK’s bowlers, most distinctively Simarjeet Singh, who was most memorable with 3 wickets for 15 runs in 3 overs, and Tejas Baroka, who absolutely destroyed the lower order with his 3/12.

Central Delhi Kings Innings: 82/1 in 6 overs

In reply, CDK came out with aggression and completely bossed the SDS bowling unit. Chasing just 82, Yash Dhull played a captain's impact knock of 29 off 15 balls, striking the ball at 193.33. Siddharth Joon, meanwhile, played an inspired blasting innings of 32 off only 10 balls and set the chase of early pace. 

There was only 1 wicket to fall through the entire encounter, that of Siddharth, but by then, the game was done. Yugal Saini joined Dhull, and the pair sealed the chase calmly and coolly with 12 runs off 12 balls*, looking great out in the middle and steering CDK to an uncomplicated, rapid 9-wicket victory with 14 overs remaining.
