The second season of the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 is set to begin on August 02 with the afternoon clash between Central Delhi Kings and Northern Delhi Strikers. The final will take place on August 31, with a reserve day set on September 01 in case of weather or any other delays. All games will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
The DPL 2025 will be bigger with eight teams participating rather than the six in the last edition. They have been divided into two groups, with each team competing against the other in their group and also once against the opposite group, just like the IPL format. Some of the top young bowlers and batters from the IPL will participate in the season.

The top four teams of the league will qualify for the playoffs, which will follow the same structure as the IPL. Simarjeet Singh is the most expensive player of the season for INR 39 lakh, just over Digvesh Rathi for INR 38 lakh.
