The schedule for the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 is out! On Monday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the fixtures of the high-profile event that is slated to be held across the months of September, October, and November. The ICC Women's ODI World Cup will feature a total of 31 games (including the finals). The tournament will be hosted jointly by India and Sri Lanka, with the latter serving as a neutral venue for Pakistan.

As many as eight teams will feature in this mega tournament, and a total of six locations across India and Sri Lanka will be hosting the matches. India and Sri Lanka will play the tournament opener on September 30 in Bengaluru. Furthermore, the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan cricket match is set to take place on October 5 in Colombo. However, the venue for the final is still undecided and could either be held in Colombo or Bengaluru, depending on Pakistan's qualification chances. Pakistan is expected to play all their games in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Fixtures for ICC Women's World Cup 2025

The Indian Women's cricket team will have the home advantage on their side and will look to trump the defending champions, Australia, to clinch their maiden ICC title. The home side will be led by a resilient Harmanpreet Kaur, who has been a thorn in Australia's side for quite a while now. India would want to start their campaign on a winning note against Sri Lanka and will look to brace themselves against tougher opponents like South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia, against whom they have been found wanting more often than not in the past ICC events.
