On Monday India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant joined the celebration because the India Davis Cup team won their first-round match against the Netherlands Davis Cup team in Bengaluru.

Pant took to social media to praise Indian players because he wrote , "Big win for Indian tennis in the Davis Cup Qualifiers. The team achieved second round qualification through their victory against the Netherlands which required them to demonstrate exceptional determination. The boys displayed excellent performance according to him." His message quickly gained traction among fans because his supporters from Indian cricket and tennis showed increasing support for him.

Young sensation Dhakshineswar Suresh became the tie hero through his exceptional all-round skills which helped India advance to the second round of September Qualifiers while they moved within one step of the eight-team Davis Cup Finals.

Suresh defeated Jesper de Jong in singles on Saturday and returned on Sunday to play doubles with Yuki Bhambri against David Pel and Sander Arends in a crucial match. The Indian duo competed for their first time together but they achieved victory through their unshakeable confidence which allowed them to win 7-6(0) 3-6 7-6(1) during a three-hour match which secured India important victory.

The tie match continued until its final moment because Sumit Nagal lost the reverse singles match against De Jong. Nagal demonstrated fighting spirit through his battle against a grade-two thigh muscle tear which ended up serving as vital support for Suresh during his recovery time before their deciding match.

Suresh achieved victory over Guy den Ouden to secure the historic victory. His accomplishment made him the first Indian player to win three matches during a single Davis Cup tie since Leander Paes achieved this feat in 2004.

The victory represents Indias longest tournament run in the competition during the last ten years while also bringing fresh hope for Indian tennis. The Davis Cup heroes now proceed to their next qualifying round with increasing national support which Pant and other sports legends delivered through their approval of their accomplishment.
