Asia Cup 2025: Sri Lanka's full match schedule with dates and timings revealed
Sri Lanka will begin their Asia Cup 2025 campaign against Bangladesh on September 13 as part of Group B fixtures.

After much anticipation about the schedule for 17th edition of the Asia Cup 2025 has been officially announced, sparking excitement among cricket fans across the continent. While India was initially set to host the marquee event, political tensions in the region have resulted in the tournament being relocated to neutral venues in the UAE—primarily in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. However, India continues to hold the official hosting rights for this prestigious competition.
Sri Lanka will look to bounce back in this edition after a heavy defeat to India in the Asia Cup 2023 final. In that one-sided contest at Colombo's R. Premadasa Stadium, Sri Lanka were bowled out for just 50 runs, a fiery spell of 6/21 from Mohammed Siraj. India chased down the target in just 6.1 overs to lift their 8th Asia Cup title. Sri Lanka remains one of the most successful teams in the tournament's history, also winning the Asia Cup six times, in 1986, 1997, 2004, 2008, 2014, and 2022, making them the second-most successful team of all time.
