But who is Tejasvi Dahiya?
Tejasvi Dahiya is an uncapped, 23-year-old keeper-batter and the captain of South Delhi Superstarz. The opener is mostly known for his hard-hitting abilities. As of now, his List A match tally is outstanding. The batter, in 2 List A games, scored a total of 115 runs, including a century with a 140.24 strike rate.
Delhi-born, in his first List 'A' game, he scored a century against Tripura. The emerging cricketer got a chance to represent the Delhi cricket team in the Vijay Hazare Trophy as well. There is no doubt over his talent, but he had to deal with inconsistency and a long bad patch. The ongoing Delhi Premier League emerged as a stage to witness the comeback of Tejasvi.
During a match against the Outer Delhi Warriors, he played a match-turning knock and announced his arrival in style. After the match, South Delhi Superstarz shared a video to depict his counter-attacking batting and wrote as the caption, "In that final over, Tejasvi became more than a player; he became the valiant warrior, clutch savior, and eternal legend of the Superstarz."
